The development of lightweight portable oxygen cylinders has helped to significantly improve patient within the community. LifeLine is now an essential piece of kit in hundreds of GP surgeries, dental practices, first responders and leisure groups throughout the UK. The LifeLine kit is a maintained package – there is no capital outlay – just one annual service charge.

The LifeLine PRO is designed for use by first aid trained personnel to provide supplementary supply of medical oxygen at flow rates up to 15 litres per minute.

The LifeLine First Response kit has been developed to offer enhanced patient care which can be delivered by first-aiders within their local community or place of work.

The oxygen cylinder which forms part of both kits is a lightweight cylinder with an integral regulator and is inspected by a BOC representative on an annual basis. This ensures that it is in good working order. A work report is provided to the customers to show that this inspection has taken place and provides a record for an audit trail.

Both packages have the potential to save lives and prevent patients deteriorating prior to the ambulance service arriving

As part of a complete resuscitation package BOC Medical works in partnership with Cardiac Science and can provide automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

BOC Medical supplies the Powerheart AED G3 which was selected as the sole AED of choice by the British Heart Foundation in partnership with the Department of Health for phase 2 of the National Defibrillator Programme in England.
